Beyond our core marriage-related services—such as weddings, photography, honeymoons, jewelry, new-life support, and insurance—we have expanded into a unique range of sectors. These include music and language schools, shopping malls, health and beauty care, and live entertainment production, all designed to serve our customers at various stages of their lives.

We recognize that population decline is one of the most critical challenges facing Japanese society today. It is widely understood that the trends of fewer people marrying and individuals marrying later in life are significant contributing factors to this issue.
Since our founding—at a time when the term Konkatsu (marriage hunting) was not yet part of the common lexicon—IBJ has remained steadfast in addressing these societal challenges under our management philosophy: “To bring happiness to all those with whom we share a connection.” Our commitment goes beyond simply providing opportunities for people to meet; we consistently strive to offer services that support each individual’s life journey with integrity and peace of mind.
In 2025, the number of couples married through IBJ exceeded 20,000 annually, marking a record high. This represents over 4% of all marriages in Japan.
